Why?
Why would anyone want to study abroad? Mostly for the experience of a lifetime. You can:
-enhance your education
-learn about possible careers
-learn a new language
-study a new subject
-meet new people
-strengthen skills employers look for
-maybe even have some fun

Here's a bunch of really good things to know before you leave to work or study abroad. There are many stereotypes of Americans, and it will be helpful if you are aware of and know how to deal with these stereotypes. Furthermore, you'll find your stay more enjoyable if you don't reinforce the negative stereotypes perceived by other countries.
